As if winning an Academy Award, being married to Chris Martin, and getting to traipse through Spain with Mario Batali weren’t enough, Gwyneth Paltrow has to continue finding ways to incite wild jealousy in the rest of us. This week’s feat: kicking ass at karaoke.
The mother of two was spotted in a Nashville, TN bar over the weekend belting out Roberta Flack’s “Killing Me Softly” at the wrap party for her new movie Love Don’t Let Me Down. She looks cool, her voice was pretty, her pitch on key and she knew all the lyrics. Plus, no one appeared to boo her off the stage.
So in short, nothing at all like my pre-kid days when I used to frequent karaoke bars and slur my way through Toto’s “Africa”.
